sounds like a good way to nuke an egg16.9.09a lot of people,in fact, anyone and everyone i've met, every book I've read, everything, always says or believes that white is the purest color. that it signifies purity, or whatever. but when you get technical about it, it really isn't. as a matter of fact, white is probably the most "impure" color out there, simply from the fact that it is the single color that most easily reflects the colors of it's surroundings. take an egg for example. here it lays on a brown table-top, next to a window, in a dining room where the ceiling light is on, and the sun is setting outside. what colors do you see? i see the yellow from the light above it, the pink, purple, and dark blue colors from the sunset outside. i see brownish-black the shadow underneath caused by the light, and the brown reflected from it's surface from the table top. i also see the unspoken color of cream from the cup that sits nearby. from what i see, it appears in my mind that white is the most easily influenced color out there. everything around it can change the color of the egg, from one end of the spectrum to the next. when looking at it from this angle, you ask yourself, how is white considered the most pure of colors? how can it be, when everything around it constantly changes it, from everything pale and pastel to everything dark? leave it in a room full of light colors and it becomes something pretty and innocent. leave it in a room full of dark colors and it becomes dark and threatening. i believe white is simply the color of the human essence. the human essence, which can be so easily influenced it is nearly blind. because when you think about it, in this way, in this concept, it really does fit, doesn't it? chinese oral yesterday totally sucked. oral is redundant. oh yes, how could i forget. there's this truckloadplz of rubbish. also known as geog homework. AND HOME ECONS. i can't be bothered to do the art research thing. The Art/Geography Teacher is grouchy. everyday. anyway, KEZIA'S HEAD HURTS.
